"If you want to look like you're on the cover of a romance novel, or feel like a whimsical woodland fairy, Ailsa really is the only designer for you" - Bethany

Everything I make is from scratch, with each bride's interests, inspiration, body type and wedding in mind.

No two dresses are ever the same, and that's what sets my work apart from off-the-rack alternatives. In a world of fast fashion and mass production, your finished gown is one in a million - no more than your big day deserves.

Of course, I completely understand that selecting your perfect dress from scratch can be an overwhelming prospect - which is why I created a diverse and beautiful collection of sample dresses to help my brides get inspired ahead of our dressmaking journey together.

Take a look below at some of my favourite designs. If you like what you see, please don't hesitate to get in touch for a no obligation consultation.

Lowenna

Inspired by the linings of 1950s Dior couture, this romantic tulle gown features a boned bodice with cups and hand draped tulle detailing. The Juliette sleeves make a romantic statement and the sweeping train adds drama and elegance. Ivory spotted tulle over nude silk creates a beautifully soft depth of colour.

Hebe

With inspiration taken from the statue "the Winged Victory of Samothrace", this soft ivory gown is designed to move with and around the female form. The square neckline feels modern and crisp, softened by the ribbon shoulder fastening, full circle and a half skirt and subtly layering.

Aurelia

The perfect dress for cottagecore fans, the Aurelia shows that dresses can be simple and still feel elegant and bridal. In beautifully soft linen and lined with the finest cotton, this wedding dress is 100% vegan and a suitable option for brides concerned with sustainability. The scoop neckline, peasant sleeve and simple sweep of skirt feel young, fresh and a little escapist.

Billie

A timeless, popular separates look. The Billie separates feature a simple gathered silk crepe skirt, and a cropped top with delicate petal sleeves, and a button back fastening feels like a irreverent nod to traditional bridal design.

Vintage inspired and in a warm ecru chiffon, this dress features double petal sleeves, a swooping crossed over neckline and gentle flowing skirt. Pearl buttons down the back add a beautiful traditional touch.

Elin

This soft dove grey wedding dress is a favourite with photographers and brides because it moves so beautifully. The bodice is a simple sleeveless scoop neckline, and the skirt is a circle and a half layer of silk chiffon over a layer of silk crepe. Gathered close at the waist and with no underskirt adding stiffness, this dress moves and drapes elegantly and is refreshing in it's simplicity.

Sovay

Most recently seen on Love My Dress, the Sovay gown is popular with fans of classic literature for it's dreamy poet sleeves, layered draped bodice and subtle applique skirt.
